Most of you guys must know GTRONIC, he made a sick remix for Warp by The Bloody Beetroots and Steve Aoki. And his track 'Iron Man' was even featured on the 'Smash Your Stereo' Cd that The Bloody Beetroots mixed(same time with their tour)! Probably one of the best current Belgian dj's!
His new remix is great! Original is by Trash Yourself (who possibly have the most annoying MySpace I've ever seen).

PhilTimm

PhilTimm is a dj-trio from Hasselt (that's in Belgium) that doesn't only helps me out with the blog, but also makes awesome tracks theirselves. They were in the final of Mixfactor, a pretty known Dj Contest. Normally they would release their Raving Pops Ep (including remixes from Slash N Turn, Jay Lee and Strash) but due to problems with their label it's not sure wether the EP will be released or not. I'm hoping for the best!

It's been a long time that we've heard something new from the Bingo Players. A year ago this dutch duo were banging the dancefloors with their hits like 'Chop' and 'Get up' (mostly known for the remix Diplo made for it though). A year passed now and they didn't make much new stuff. But now they come with 2 new bootlegs! One of the mighty song 'Lapdance' by N.E.R.D. and another of the 90's classic 'Tom's Dinner' by Suzanne Vega.

As you will hear the 'Lapdance' Bootleg sounds very familiar with Chop.

Sweet Rosie

We all know John Dahlback from clubbangers like 'Blink' and 'Hustle Up', and most of you already heard of Jesper Dahlback, known for tracks like 'Human In Me' and 'Super Connector'? But have you heard of Hugg & Pepp yet, the collaboration between these two brilliant masterminds?

No? Than you should check out this post right away.

On the 31st of August Hugg & Pepp released a track called 'Sweet Rosie' on Turbo Records (Tiga, The Proxy, Brodinksi, Noob, ...), and I simply loved it from the first time I heard it. Catchy discovocals and a techy beat, what more do you need? Also check out the great remix by Tronik Youth.

NOTE: Tocadisco also remixed 'Sweet Rosie', but his attempt at remixing this masterpiece failed very hard. The remix sounded too much like his monsterhit 'Morumbi', and he turned the female vocals into male vocals, what makes the track sound very gay. That's why Mr. Tocadisco doesn't deserve a spot here.

First off, the latest of Green Velvet. I'm a huge fan of him, personally I think he is one of the best mixers around, his sets are incredibly good. Both mixing and track choice.

I really like this one! It's a very funky track and I can't stop listening to it for some reason! Big up to Fred Falke.

NT89 - Ade
This one is pretty hard. NT89 is a Dj coming from Holland. Some of his remixes were released on major labels (Turbo, Sony Music,...) and they mostly deserve it! Check out his Myspace for sure.

Buraka Som Sistema - Kurum(Dj Manaia Remix)
Last but not least, remix coming from Dj Manaia. I think he is like the only Dj I know coming from Portugal... Anyway, sure check out this remix.

Felix Da Housecat - He Was King

Alright, check out LTMCY's review of our favorite cat's latest album: 'He Was King'! It may be a little bit late, since the album was released on the 25th of August, but we don't really care.

I am a real big fan of Felix's work and yet again, I'm impressed! It's not as good as his first album 'Thee Album' (wich is one of my favourite electronic albums ever!) that's filled with laid-back chicago house but I won't blame him for that.

The album starts with the catchy, simply amazing 'We All Wanna Be Prince'. I'm sure y'all heard it already by now, and I'm pretty sure most of you like it alot. Well, so do I. Other catchy tracks on the album go by the name of 'Do We Move Your World', 'We' and 'Turn Me On A Summer Smile'.
Almost the whole album is pretty catchy, happy (including a female vocalist) and fun. Exceptions 'Elvi$', 'Kickdrum' and 'LA Ravers' are much more electronic, and will definitely do some serious damage to many dancefloors. Bloody Noize !

We all know Boys Noize and we all know The Bloody Beetroots. Two of the best artist I know. Well, they never worked together (as in making remixes for eachother or making a song together.). Bit of a shame if I must say!

But today my friends, this changed a little bit. Since Boberman (Aka Sir Bob Rifo of The Bloody Beetroots) made a remix of Deathsuite! Deathsuite was one of the songs coming forth from a project of Erol Alkan and Boys Noize.
I myself like the original one better, but this one sure isn't bad (what you expect...)

If you never heard of Modek yet, then you're not following the Belgian electro-scene. Probably the biggest upcoming talent of Belgium, a friendly giant from Limburg, more exactly Diepenbeek, close to Hasselt. He destroyed almost every soundsystem in Limburg with his hard, destrutive beats. Definitely somebody to keep your eye on.
