To Be Announced

From the creator of Philtimm, the underground dj trio coming from Belgium comes this new track. Under the name 'To Be Announced' this 20 year old music lover is going to bring some more experimental and chill music. On the question why he suddenly stopped with Electro he simply responds that it began to be a bit boring and "more of the same".
The track is astonishing good. It's 6 minutes pure pleasure. Combining some ambient with all kinds of instruments. There is no further information about the release. All he can say is that he got some good ideas and that most likely this track will be on an EP, including remixes from other artists or just other numbers.
You will hear it first on LTMCY.

Been a while since i uploaded drum and bass. I've got some quite recently released tracks starting off with Sigma's new track. Released somewhere in august on 'Stand Tall EP pt.2'. After listening once, it really keeps circling around in your head for at least a few hours. Great track!
Sigma - The Jungle

Second, one of my favourite dnb producers at the moment, Grafix! All his productions are so crystal-clear and he puts something in his songs which makes you recognizing Grafix everytime. Only giving the promo version away, buy the the full release on Pristine Records here.
Grafix - Take Your Time

I'm going to continue with J Majik & Wickaman. This track is a little bit older, but i hadn't discovered it yet. Coming from the Mosquito EP, which got released somewhere april 2010!
J Majik & Wickaman - Rage

4th, a collab between Mutated Forms and Jenna G. That's something that can't go wrong, and indeed it seems that it went off like nothing. Jenna G's voice fits so good with dnb music. The track has been released on Allsorts020 which also includes a b-side track called 'With You'.
Mutated Forms - Last Time (Feat. Jenna G)

Than, a track which i discovered in Netsky's Essential Mix. S.P.Y. did a remix on 'In The Waiting Line' by Zero 7. I personally think it's a great remix. So check it out!
Zero 7 - In The Waiting Line (S.P.Y. Remix)

Ending with a track coming from a 17 year old producer called Woody. He made a bootleg on a track which we all know, called Out Of Touch by Uniting Nations. The original track frequently hit the radio few years ago. Woody has seriously got some talent, he has a track forthcoming on Liquicity Records and is getting a lot of promotion lately which is going to make him receive more popularity. Won't take long anymore before this guy will become big in the dnb scene.

Some Experimental Tracks

First of all, I'm convinced of the fact that a lot of artists in this genre are under-appreciated just because of the reason that their music doesn't reach the amount of people that other genres do. I'm also sure of the fact that most of the producers in this genre carry a big amount of talent with them. So that's that, and now some music!

Starting off with one of the nicest tracks i've heard in a while, made by BAHWEE, an artist coming from California. Tracks are coming from his Flavor EP which you can buy here. The thing i like the most about these tracks are the jazzy influences.
BAHWEE - Twentyinmypocket
BAHWEE - Grape

Than, an artist that has a little bit more familiarity called Eskmo. He recently released his self titled album which you can also buy here. Really good album in my opinion, so don't doubt buying it!
We're giving one track away from the album which is called 'The Melody', it's kinda special, check it out for yourself.
Eskmo - The Melody

Eskmo's music video on Lands and Bones featuring Swan recently came out.
Eskmo - Lands And Bones (Feat. Swan)

as 4th, an artist who frequently appeared on my itunes last summer. Somewhere 2010 he released a beat type album which is called Five-Finger Discount. Don't forget to check out the Myspace
I'm going to continue with a remix from Shlohmo on the track 'Change' by Gonjasufi. It's more like a deep ambient track in which many sounds get combined into one piece of beauty! Coming from The Caliph's Tea Party album
Gonjasufi - Change (Shlohmo Remix)

Ending with Four Tet's remix on Lovesick by Lindstrom & Christabelle.
Lindstrom & Christabelle - Lovesick (Four Tet Remix)

Enjoy

Gerry Read

I'm so glad that today I received a promo from one of my favorite music labels. Dark Arx only has 2 EP's on the street. But the quality is so astonishing good that the label stays on your mind anyway. Quality over quantity really should be their moto.

Well, good news. They now come with their 3th EP this year. The artist behind the EP is 'Gerry Read', he is new signed to Dark Arx. What immediatly got my attention is the fact that his influences are very close to what I call my favorite music.(James Blake, Actress, Martyn)

With that in my mind I couldn't wait to hear the tracks.(EP contains 3 tracks)

The first track is titled "Patterns", song is really what I expected from someone who says James Blake and Actress are some of his influences. The song is put together incredibly well. Combining some very energetic synths with a nice atmoshphere.

The track "Dreamer" is much deeper, that's probably one of the reasons he called it "Dreamer". This track has some sort of insanly good crunchy dub pattern that makes it very hard for me not to constantly keep playing the song. And I mean constantly.

Finally, you have "Climb". This track somewhat reminded me of Burial and that's about the biggest compliment I can give any artist. It's just the subtile vocal underneath that coat of ambient that makes the picture. This is my favorite one on the EP.

Conclusion is that this might be one of the biggest EP's I have heard in 2010. EP release date is 22 November. So we need some more patience, but it will be so worth it. Big up to Gerry Read, from who we will hear alot more in the future, no doubt.

(For some reason I can't link the soundcloud, so you'll need to copy and paste the link)

Caution, Heavy Basslines!

Yet again a dubstep post with some of the newest tracks. Starting off with Trolley Snatcha, who seems to have been transposing his bounderies. His most recent EP is called One Tricky Pony EP. I chose the track called 'Always On My Mind' because it's really relaxing. It isn't something we're used from Trolley Snatcha but i really really like it!
Trolley Snatcha - Always On My Mind

Secondary, again it's Flux Pavilion, my personal favorite at the moment! With this track he also transposed his bounderies a little bit because of the fact that the track, which is a remix on Jamiroquai's 'Blue Skies', is influenced with some chiptune vibes! Yet again, he surprises me, and he just keeps them coming. Hope he will continue making music like this.
Jamiroquai - Blue Skies (Flux Pavilion Remix)

As third, it's Nero. Can we interpretate this one as a follower on his previous remix on 'The Recluse' by Plan B? I really like the track and again you can immediately hear those typical basslines where Nero stands for!
Nero - Me & You

Now for the more heavy part of this post, as 4th it's Bare. Track is called 'Shot Me Down' relating to the Nancy Sinatra vocals which we presumably all know. Like i said it's the more heavy part of this post..
Bare - Shot Me Down

For the 5th one, I chose for a VIP version of Vaski's 'Lost My Mind' which is coming from the 'Hurricane EP' which hit the shelves on the 22 of november. So get it while it's still hot!
Vaski - Lost My Mind Electro VIP

I'm going to end with J Rabbit, Tremourz' 'Sexy Party', a track which also is... kinda heavy! Coming from the Sexy Party EP
J. Rabbit, Tremourz - Sexy Party

Cheers, LTMCY!

Circus Records Represent

In my opinion there's one top shelve label in the dubstep scene lately, and it's called Circus Records! Their latest releases from artists like Flux Pavilion, Doctor P and Unitz we're really mindblowing, so therefor this post. To start off with Flux Pavilion. This guy has been doing a great job lately and he's becoming one of dubstep's biggest bosses. He's latest EP called Line In Wax is absolutely great and includes a collaboration with Foreign Beggars. My favourite track on the EP is Haunt You, although i also love the other ones, but just because of the fact that it's different than else!
Flux Pavilion - Lines In Wax EP

As second, Doctor P. He's been doing great stuff too lately with releases like Big Boss which we've already given away in the previous post. He also did a remix for Blame's track called Star which is quite good i suppose. Another track he released lately is called Vampire Dub, a track with a bit of reggae influences in it, love it!
Blame - Star (Ft. Fuda Guy & Camilla Marie) (Doctor P Remix)
Doctor P - Vampire Dub

As last, Unitz. Didn't know the artist before i got this track, but he also settled on Circus Records. Track called Funky Junky. It's a little bit special, but in a positive way, so check it out!
Unitz - Funky Junky

That's it, big up to Circus Records!

Big Boss

Untitled! celebrated their 4th anniversary 2 weeks ago on the 2nd of october. According to AOOA TV it seemed to be one hell of a party!

And as you can hear in this clip, some new tunes have been dropped.
It's Doctor P's newest track called Big Boss forthcoming Circus Records [Pre-Order]
