Friday the 18th of june Netsky's minimix got aired on Annie Mac. There's no doubt about whether you're going to like it or not! The biggest amount of the songs are his own songs but the mix also includes some other big tracks! Lately, my attention goes out often to netsky. Because I personally think that he totally deserves the attention, and not just because of the fact that he's a hero in dnb but also because he's 'our' here ;).
So check out the minimix here, perfect to listen when you're having a break in studying ;)
Finally there it is, the newest EP from Boys Noize & Erol Alkan. Because of the succes of their first collab people had high expectations for this EP. It's clear that the style of the numbers is totally different then their first EP (Waves / Death Suite). It's been released a few months ago, but still I wanted to put in on the blog to keep the electro listeners satisfied. [Download]
So, here's a track that's been passing a lot on my iTunes last days. Discovered it by a friend who send it over to me. The artist is called Boson. Checkout his myspace for more information because i don't know much about him, but I do know one thing. He deserves more than the attention he's receiving at the moment. You're definately worth the attention if you're able to make such great music. Absolutely love the way how he combines reggae elements with dubstep. Boson - Bag O Wire
Few weeks ago I ran into the clip of Lenzman's newest creation. Really enjoyed the song from the first till the last second. Riya has such an amazing voice, and it seems to work out well combined with Lenzman's production capabilities.
Nice to know that he's from the Netherlands, so that's another artist in the dnb scene which can put us on the map. The Open Page / Coincidence EP is out since the 7th of june (buy link)
One of the best performances in my live has to be The Subs at Pukkelpop 2009, they were fucking insane. Not only is their music absolutly amazing, the way they interacted with the crowd was unbelievable, let me tell you that.
Here's a video of how it was, but believe me, it's not even close to the feeling we had at the frontrow at the moment itself.
I'm not really into the Electro scene anymore. But today I received a mix they made to promote their new EP. (Buy here) And I liked every minute of it!

Totally love the name Netsky picked for this track. At first this one wasn't meant to be dropped on the album, but since the album leaked they added 2 tracks to the album to give the album a slightly renewed touch. So I personally think that the name 'Pirate Bay' is chosen because of the leakage and refers to a site.
Again, it's such an uplifting track. So here's a lower, but still acceptable quality version of the full song. It would be kinda hypocrite giving you the full track after talking 4 lines about the leakage. So, there you have it!
A while ago somebody asked me to put this up on the blog. I just noticed it a bit late, but finally here it is. The Sigma remix on Skepta's 'Rescue Me'. As usual it contains those typical Sigma sounds which make their music so unique. I could definately hear 'Shut The Lights Off' hiding in this track. So be sure to check it out!
